May 29, 2012. Girl Scout Troop 10492 recently adopted a garden. Working with the Town of Boone, the local Girl Scout Troop has a small garden by Jaycees Park that will be theirs to maintain. The girls will use this garden in their Girl Scout work and a small token of thanks to the Town of Boone.

Many thanks go out to the Town of Boone for working with them to provide the garden space and plants, to the Peddler Steakhouse for helping to provide a picnic lunch and cook for an after gardening celebration and to Lowes Hardware for help with the gloves and spades.
