Clocks Fall Back One Hour as Daylight Savings Time Ends on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 AM

By Jesse Wood

imagesDaylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 2 a.m., according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac. That means if you set your clocks to “fall back” an hour on Saturday night, you’ll wake up to the correct new time.

On Sunday, the sun will rise at 6:55 a.m. and set at about 5:25 p.m., according to https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/boone?month=11&year=2016, which, of course, took into account the end of daylight savings time.

By the time the winter solstice comes around in late December, the sun will be rising at about 7:30 a.m. and setting at 5:15 p.m. In other words, enjoy the daylight when you can because we won’t be seeing much of it for a while.
