Boone Woman Arrested for Fraud

connie_snow_franklinOn Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, Boone Police Department received a report of fraudulent activity at a local business, Highland International Inc., 160-B Den Mac Drive in Boone, North Carolina. This activity involved the fraudulent use of the businesses checks. This report was forwarded to the Boone Police Department Investigations Division and an investigation began.

On Monday, September 19, 2016, Boone Police Investigators filed the listed charges on an employee of the business. This investigation is on-going and more charges are expected. Connie Snow Franklin was arrested and charged with the following charges:

  • 2 Felony Counts of Forgery of Instrument
  • 2 Felony Counts of Uttering a Forged Endorsement

Snow posted a $3,000 secured bond and was ordered to appear in Watauga County District court on October 20, 2016.
