The evening’s menu will include Roasted Pork with House Made BBQ Sauce, Marinated Coleslaw with Collards and Swiss Chard, Tomato and Cheese Pie, Local Vegetable Curry with Coconut Milk and breads from Lost Province.

Since 1984, it has been the mission of Hospitality House to help people rebuild their lives while providing a safe, nurturing, and healthy environment for individuals and families experiencing various crises or homelessness. Through the provision of food, shelter, and supportive services the hope and goal is for each adult and child to leave feeling empowered and equipped with the skills that will allow them to become more self-sufficient and productive community members.

In 2014, Hospitality House provided close to 35,000 nights of shelter and over 146,000 meals to individuals and families in need. The Hospitality House mission is so much more than “bed and bread,” and that’s what makes them unique. Having a place to sleep and food to eat is only the beginning for the folks that wind up at their doorstep. Each person and family has a social worker to guide in goal planning that takes them from stabilization to self-sufficiency.
