Asheville Symphony Guild Offers Music Camp Scholarships to Watauga Middle, High School Students

March 7, 2012. ASHEVILLE — This spring the Asheville Symphony Guild will offer full and partial scholarships for musical instrument students in middle and high school  in 22 western N.C. counties, including Watauga County, to attend the Mars Hill College Summer Music Camp (June 24—June 29, 2012).  Scholarship information and applications can be obtained from the Guild at www.ashevillesymphony.org/guild or the student’s music teacher.

Applicants must demonstrate a desire to become more proficient on their instrument(s) and a need for financial assistance.  Tuition, optional campus housing, activities, meals and one private lesson are covered by a full scholarship.

The Summer Music Camp is held on the beautiful Mars Hill College campus in Mars Hill, NC.  More information about the Camp can be found at www.mhc.edu/musiccamp.
