Crimestoppers: Larceny and Assault at Rock and Roll Emporium on West King Street, March 10

March 14, 2012. Watauga County Crimestoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

The two women pictured in the accompanying surveillance images are wanted for questioning in a larceny and assault at a downtown King Street business. 

On Saturday March 10 at approximately 5:45 p.m. two women entered the Rock and Roll Emporium in the shopping center at 641 West King St. Once inside, they are seen on surveillance video filling a previously empty bag with items they did not purchase. The shorter haired woman is seen stuffing items she did not purchase under her clothing. The manager of the store confronted the two women and they fled after a brief altercation. 

Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 828-268-6959. All information will be kept confidential. 

Crimestoppers pays rewards for information, which leads to arrests; recovery of stolen property; seizure of drugs and the location of wanted persons.
